Ghana, West Africa's "Christ Prince of Peace School Brass Band"
Peace & Blessings Family,
My dear friend Bill Rosebrock filmed this student brass band of the school he has adopted, where he
volunteered and has been actively fund raising to help keep this meager, yet educationally proficient school
afloat. Bill shares many of his own resources to help, even purchasing books to create a richer library for
the school. "Christ Prince of Peace School Brass Band" of Ghana is comprised of students ages 7 - 14. It is
considered an honor to be in this band, as it is vital to the community, providing music for major ceremonies,
sporting events, church services, and more. Band Director Isaac Tandoh is largely self taught young man,
passing on his skills to his eager students. They all make the best of their much repaired, retooled
instruments. The school's septuagenarian founder has struggled to keep her beloved school afloat, facing
continuous financial difficulties. More info to come on how you can be an active contributor to help keep
Christ Prince of Peace School alive and well.
