AKERU NuAfrakan Network was created in 2005 by Queen Mother Imakhu Shekemet as a way to reach the
Nu Afrakan global community with Afrakan-based consciousness, cultural, political, economic, and spiritual
info. In answer to the forced disappearance of commercial AM/FM Black Radio, Imakhu joined the Conscious
Community producers who brought their media talents to Internet.
In 2008 AKERU became AKERU Global Network. AKERU provides a forum for a wide spectrum of world
scholars, healers, musicians, financial experts, success motivators, and commentators to share their
messages for the education, edification, and unification of our global activist communities. AKERU is also a
Kemetic outreach ministry of Sacred Shrine of Mwt Ast / Church Of The True Living Waters, "Building
Bridges to Peace Without and Within" from an holistic, Pan-Afrakan perspective.
The Internet radio station has evolved into AKERU Global Network & Media Enterprises, comprised of
AKERU Radio, AKERU TV, and the speakers bureau AKERU Cultural Communications Collective.

agent, and web master.
