Ryan C. Greene’s leadership development began at a very young age. His single mother, Jacqueline,
raised Ryan with his younger sister Stacie in the suburbs of Baltimore, MD. Ryan became the man of
the house quickly as a “latch-key kid” at the age of eight. He attributes his determination, commitment
to succeed and never give up attitude to watching his mother sacrifice her life for the life of her kids.
Watching his mother fight to make ends meet, support her family and fight through her sickle cell
anemia, gave Ryan the determined resolve to be the one to make a difference in his family.
Ryan is making that difference today, as he is quickly becoming one of the most sought after
speakers and trainers on the East Coast. In January 2006, Ryan founded Bakari Book Publishers and
published his first book, "Success Is In Your Hand: 19 Keys To Unlocking The Successful Person You
Were Designed To Be." Ryan’s next book, "Success 101: 19 Keys To Success In College That Your
Professor Won’t Teach You" will be released in September 2007 and My Little Black Book Of
Leadership Lessons: 15 Business Leadership Lessons I Learned From My Ex-Girlfriends," will be
released in the Spring of 2008. Ryan is currently in the process of signing other new authors to his
publishing company and plans to introduce seven new authors to the world in 2008. In January 2006,
Ryan also became the Executive Producer and Host of his own weekly radio talk show,
"The Ryan C. Greene Show." His show is heard across the country and reaches over 7.5 million
people. Through the publishing company and radio show Ryan hopes to change as many lives as
possible by delivering high-impact relevant solutions for unlocking one’s full potential and realizing
their individual destiny and purpose.
Ryan graduated from Hampton University in Hampton, VA in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science Degree
in Marketing. After several years of job hopping and realizing that his place was not in Corporate
America, Ryan sought to start his own business. Realizing that God had blessed him with the love of
public speaking and a passion to see others achieve more and reach their full potential, Ryan was
inspired to start a Personal Development Company. In 2003, Ryan founded Maximum Leadership
Concepts. Maximum Leadership Concepts’ mission is "To Educate, Empower, and Equip Today’s
Leaders." This is accomplished through powerful keynote speeches, life-changing interactive
seminars, focused corporate and organizational trainings, easy to read and apply books and other
resources aimed toward adults, young-adults, professional and church leaders and aspiring business
owners. Maximum Leadership Concepts is based in Baltimore, MD and also provides one on one
business consultation.
Ryan speaks from the heart and his genuine, informative, and humorous presentations have already
changed countless lives. He has been featured in a wide array of print, radio and television media.
He is a contributing writer for Channel Magazine, The Network Marketing Magazine, Vision Magazine
and Briefcase Magazine. He has hosted “Briefcase Radio” on WEAA 88.9FM Baltimore and hosted
“In Good Company”, a television talk show on Morgan State TV. Ryan serves on the Advisory Board of
Morgan State University’s Entrepreneurial Development Assistance Center and he is also the Founder
& Executive Director of The Jacqueline M Kidd Foundation, a non-profit foundation named after his
mother that donates money for sickle cell research and awards college scholarships.
Ryan’s life mission is to change as many people’s lives as possible. He currently resides in
Baltimore, MD with his wife Leslie, his son Jordan and his daughter Jayden.
